The game’s social hub, Dancecity, allows players to roam freely and meet up with up to 18 others, showing off their avatars and interacting through fun emojis.

Players can engage in public matchmaking to compete with other dancers worldwide or host private dance parties with up to six friends. These private sessions take place in your apartment, where you can also communicate through voice chat. Each song has its own unique "Danceverse," presenting visually appealing environments that elevate the virtual experience with a different ambiance for each track.

While the visuals and social features are impressive, the game falls short in its song selection. The tracklist consists of only 25 songs, with many being older hits like Don't Stop Me Now and Call Me Maybe, which might feel outdated for players seeking fresher music. Additionally, the scoring system is quite forgiving or inaccurate—awarding high scores even for imperfect moves—reducing the challenge for players seeking a more skill-driven experience.
